ASI, ROHVA, MSF, and USMCA Certified Courses

Training Offered

We offer basic ATV Safety Institute (ASI) training courses and Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association (ROHVA) for ROVs, often referred to as “side by sides”.

Off-Road Safety Training Inc. also offers basic Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) courses for dirt bikes, as well as adventure bikes.

We also offer basic, and more advanced dirt bike courses by certified trainers with the United States Motorcycle Coaches Association (USMCA).

Advanced courses are available in dirt bike, adventure bike, ATV, and ROV. Groups and/or individual (one on one) training is available.

We specialize in custom ATV and ROV safety training programs for public utilities.

ROHVA Basic Driver

ROHVA Basic Driver

The ROHVA Basic DriverCourse (RBDC) consists of the ROHVA E-Course and six closed range exercises. The RBDC is approximately 3.0-3.5 hours, and provides the basic knowledge and skills needed for the safe operation of an ROV. Participants must be a legally licensed car driver and must have completed the ROHVA E-Course before driving in the closed range exercises,

ASI ATV Rider Course

ASI ATV Rider Course

The ATV RiderCourse is two parts, a 2- hour online e-Course and a hands-on 2- 2.5 hour S-Course conducted by licensed ATV Safety Institute Instructors. The e-Course develops safety knowledge and awareness through interactive activities and video. The course covers protective gear (like DOT-compliant ATV helmets), environmental concerns, riding strategies, and local laws and is a pre-requisite for the hands-on s-Course. The s-Course offers students an opportunity to practice basic riding skills

MSF Adventure Bike Rider Course

MSF Adventure Bike Rider Course

This single-day course includes riding and discussions on a dirt training range, for owners of ADV and Dual-Purpose motorcycles who wish to learn 12 fundamental skills for riding their motorcycle off-road. This includes riding on low-traction surfaces with an emphasis on body positioning and rider-active control techniques needed for off-road environments. The course is for licensed riders who own an Adventure Bike (ADV) or Dual-Purpose bike and have experience with it on the street.

MSF Dirt Biker School

MSF Dirt Biker School

Dirt Bike School is a fun, one-day, hands-on training session available to anyone six years old or above. At approved training sites, MSF certified DBS Coaches will teach you basic riding skills and responsible riding practices, including risk management and environmental awareness. The Closed Range Exercise provides hands-on riding training with an emphasis on safety and skill development.
